FORT PLAIN — Fonda-Fultonville’s Marilyn Whitcavitch ad 19 kills and eight digs to power Lady Braves to a 3-1 Western Athletic Confernce victory over Canajoharie-Fort Plain Thursday at Fort Plain High School.
The Lady Braves picked up the win with game scores of 25-19, 25-13, 17-25 and 25-14.
Julia Bagnardi added 26 assists and four aces for Fonda-Fultonville, while Krystal McSpirit added 10 kills and two blocks and Peyton Zilles had six aces, five digs and three kills.
Sydney Shepard led Canajoharie-Fort Plain with five kills and five assists, while Lauren Weinberger added seven assists, six dig, three kills, 10 service points and four aces and McKayla Hayner had three aces and three blocks to go with four kills from Sarah Paradiso and seven digs from Bella Page.
