Nethaway, Ryder playing for Sage

ALBANY — The Sage Colleges’ women’s volleyball team hosted Skidmore College in the first match of Sage’s Fall Festival.

Skidmore improves to 4-5 after beating Sage, 3-0 (25-19, 25-15, 25-15), while Sage drops to 1-11.

Graduate player Miranda Nethaway (Fonda-Fultonville) led the Gators with her 10.0 points as she added nine kills with a dig and a pair of block assists.

Sage’s senior outside hitter Megan Ryder (Broadalbin-Perth) picked up 14 digs with an ace, a kill and was perfect with no reception errors in 13 attempts.

Sage is back in action today, hosting the Sage Fall Festival with Skidmore, Elms, Oneonta State, and Salem State all visiting Kahl Gym. Sage takes on Oneonta State at noon and Salem State at 4 p.m.
