GHS field hockey tops Greenwich, 5-2

GLOVERSVILLE — Logan Ovitt and Rileigh Baldwin each scored two goals to lead Gloversville to a 5-2 victory over Greenwich in a non-league girls hockey game Wednesday at Gloversville High School.

Sophie Denise also scored for the Huskies, while Madde Jones each had three assists.

Reegan Mullen and Shauna Wasielewski each had a goal and an assist for Greenwich.

Kimi Hastings made nine saves for Gloversville (2-7 overall), which outshot Greenwich by a 21-12 margin.

The Huskies are scheduled to host South Glens Falls today at 4:30 p.m.
