Boys Basketball Roundup: Fort Plain rolls past Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville

FORT PLAIN — Troy Butler scored 19 points to lead Fort Plain to an 82-42 victory over Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville in a Western Athletic Conference boys basketball game Wednesday.

The Hilltoppers outscored the Wolfpack 57-22 in the second half, scoring 35 points in the fourth quarter, to earn the win.

Levi Thomas had 16 points for Fort Plain (11-5 overall, 6-4 WAC), while Ethan Reese scored 12 points. Robert Jordan and Joe LeMoine each had 10 points.

Owen Feagles scored 15 points to lead Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville (4-14 overall, 1-9 WAC), while Quincy Bonneau scored 14 points. Paetyn Logan-Dillenbeck added 11 points.

SCHENECTADY — Nacier Hundley scored 21 points to lead Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons to a WAC victory over Northville.

The Golden Knights led 35-20 at the half on their way to the win.

Noah Foster scored 15 points for Bishop Gibbons (10-0 WAC).

Jason Ellsworth finished with 14 points to lead Northville (12-6 overall, 4-6 WAC), while Jacob Frank added 11 points.

Northville is scheduled to travel to Berne-Knox-Westerlo on Friday for a 7 p.m. contest.

Greg Gonyea scored 22 points to and had 10 assists lead Dolgeville (7-10 overall), while Connor Morse added 16 points, four steals and three assists. Kamryn Comstock added 12 points, 15 rebounds and three assists for the Blue Devils.
