ONONDAGA — Dolgeville’s Anna-Mae Nellis brought home the weight throw title from the Section III Class C/D indoor track sectional championships Saturday at the SRC Arena at Onondaga Community College.
Nellis won the event with a throw of 42-05, helping the Lady Blue Devils to a ninth-place finish in the meet.
Nellis also an legs on the 800- and 1,600-meter relay teams.
The team of Kyla Jaquay, Ireland Northrup, Claire Cargen and Nellis placed fourth in the 800-meter relay with their time of 2:01.13, while the team of Jaquay, Northrup, Hailey Rockwell and Nellis placed fifth in the 1,600-meter relay with a time of 4:57.18.
The Dolgeville boys placed fourth in the meet with 41 points.
Jed Guenthner led the Blue Devils with a third-place finish in the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 9.47. He also placed third in the triple jump with a leap of 36-09.75 and fourth in the long jump with a jump of 18-07.5.
Dylan Lamphere placed third in the high jump, clearing the bar at 5-06 and was fourth in the shot put with a throw of 36-06.5.
Jacob Grossman finished third in the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 9.51 and was fifth in the triple jump with a leap of 35-11.5.
Tyler Scheuerman finished fifth in the 55-meter dash with a time of 7.25 and was sixth in the 600-meter run with his time of 1:38.34.
Jayden Kamp teamed with Lamphere, Grossman and Scheuerman for a fifth-place finish in the 8—meter relay with their time of 1:47.41.
West Canada Valley won the Section III Class C/D championship over Remsen/Old Forge 116-62, while South Lewis won the girls title over Tully 128-68.
