FMCC Roundup: Raiders lose to Herkimer, 76-60

HERKIMER — Shykell Brown scored 19 points to lead Herkimer College to a 76-60 victory over Fulton-Montgomery Community College in a Mountain Valley Conference men’s basketball game Wednesday.

Jaylen Warmack scored 17 points for the Generals, Dante Griffin had 14 points and six assists, and Ty Desinor added 11 points. Solomon Silas had a team-high 10 rebounds for the Generals.

Javan Johns finished with 32 points and 10 rebounds to lead FMCC, while Okoe Narh had 12 points. Matthew Boyle added 11 points for the Raiders.

FMCC (5-11 overall) is scheduled to host Hudson Valley Community College today at 7 p.m.

Lady Raiders lose to Herkimer, 88-53

HERKIMER — Alexandra DeBatham finished with 24 points and 10 rebounds to power Herkimer College to an 88-53 victory over Fulton-Montgomery Community College in a Mountain Valley Conference women’s basketball game Wednesday.

The Generals led 34-14 after one quarter on their way to the win.

Amber Been had 21 points for Herkimer, Alysia Roldan scored 16 points and Junasia Lanier added 12 points.

Naimani Marshall had 17 points to lead the Lady Raiders, while Destiny Prather finished with eight points and 10 rebounds.

FMCC (9-7 overall) is scheduled to host Hudson Valley Community College today at 5 p.m.
