Girls Basketball Roundup: Mayfield rolls past Middleburgh

MAYFIELD — Cloey Dopp led four Mayfield players in double figures with 17 points to help Mayfield to a 70-36 victory over Middleburgh in a Western Athletic Conference girls basketball game Tuesday.

The Lady Panthers led 33-17 at the half on their way to the win.

Kelsey Meca scored 16 points for Mayfield (11-8 overall, 6-6 WAC), Lindsey Hampton had 13 points and Brianna Hubiak added 11 points.

Halle Haemmerle scored nine points to lead Middleburgh.

SCOTIA — Avery Mills scored 27 points to lead Mekeel Christian Academy to a WAC victory over Berne-Knox-Westerlo.

The Lions outscored the Bulldogs 42-14 in the first half on their way to the win.

Olivia Carney scored 11 points for West Canada Valley, while Reese Fellows and Olivia Morreale each had 10 points.

Hannah Stock scored 23 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and had four blocks to lead Dolgeville (7-10 overall), while Kerisa VanOlst had 19 points.

Ryanne Williams had seven points, six rebounds and four assists for the Blue Devils.
