QUEENSBURY — Cassidy Ray scored 12 points to lead Queensbury to a 58-36 victory over Johnstown in a Foothills Council girls basketball game Monday.
The Spartans led 36-14 at the half on their way to the win.
Hailey Ballard and Kaileigh Hunt each had 11 points for Queensbury (18-1 overall, 16-0 Foothills), while Fiona Hunt added 10 points.
Ballard also had seven rebounds for the Spartans, while Meghan O’Connor had eight rebounds.
Anna Lee scored a game-high 19 points to lead Johnstown, which had its five-game win streak snapped.
Johnstown (11-8 overall, 10-6 Foothills) is scheduled to host Oneonta today at 4 p.m. in a non-league contest to wrap up its regular-season schedule.

The Lady Rams jumped out to a 17-6 lead after one quarter and led 46-11 at the half on their way to the win.
Kayli Hoefs finished with 16 points for Amsterdam (17-3 overall, 14-2 Foothills), while Antonia May added 13 points.
Eliza Barton scored 14 points to lead Schuylerville (2-18 overall, 1-15 Foothills).
Amsterdam now awaits the pairings for the Section II Class A Tournament, which will be announced Wednesday.
