Gloversville bowlers sweep Hudson Falls

GLOVERSVILLE — Adam Loveless fired a 242-674 triple to help give Gloversville a 4-0 victory over Hudson Falls, completing a virtual Foothills Council bowling match that was scheduled for Feb. 3.

Mark Sgambato rolled a 255-652 for the Huskies, while London tallen added a 214-598 and Riley Griffiths finished with a 215-591.

Altrayu Wallach led Hudson Falls with a 203-574 triple.

Gloversville (38-6) posted games of 1,173, 1,285 and 1,143 for 3,601 total pins, while Hudson Falls (0-28) rolled games of 859, 867 and 840 for 2,566 total pins.

South Glens Falls 4, Broadalbin-Perth 0

AMSTERDAM — South Glens Falls’ Dalton Jones put together games of 268, 223 and 290 for a 781 triple to lead the Bulldogs to a 4-0 victory over Broadalbin-Perth completing a virtual Foothills Council bowling match that was scheduled for Feb. 3.

Jacob Hall rolled a 278-689 for South High, while Will Bickford added a 247-650 and Parker Baker finished with a 221-572 triple.

Derek Goebel led Broadalbin-Perth with a 216-577 triple, while Alex Filmer added a 223-558 and Jake Pavone finished with a 214-553 series.

South Glens Galls (36-4) rolled games of 1,306, 1,207 and 1,244 for 3,757 total pins, while Broadalbin-Perth (19-25) had games of 886, 999 and 1,055 for 2,940 total pins.
