H.S. Bowling Roundup: Patriots earn draw with GF

AMSTERDAM — Derek Goebel rolled a 195-563 to help Broadalbin-Perth earn a 2-2 tie with Glens Falls in a Foothills Council bowling match that was completed Wednesday.

Alex Filmer posted a 192-551 for the Patriots, Jennah Graham had a 202-541 and Jake Pavone rolled a 233-521.

Jocelyn Smith led Glens Falls with a 242-668, while Sean Derrick posted a 212-533. Hayden McCane finished with a 187-522 for the Indians and Michael Blockburger added a 175-502.

Broadalbin-Perth (21-23 overall) finished with a 3,081-3,070 advantage in total pins.

The match was contested virtually with Glens Falls competing at Kingpin’s Alley and Broadalbin-Perth bowling at Imperial Lanes. The scores were combined later.

Gloversville 4, Johnstown 0

GLOVERSVILLE — Adam Loveless rolled games of 200, 206 and 233 to lead Gloversville to a 4-0 victory over Johnstown in Foothills Council bowling match.

A.J. Dorman posted a 237-635 for the Huskies, while Mark Sgambato rolled a 235-635. Brad Wisniewski finished with a 228-595 for Gloversville, Riley Griffiths posted a 226-587 and London Tallon added a 183-502.

Damien Roth rolled a 201-543 to lead Johnstown (13-31), while Brianna Subik posted a 189-495. Mick Winton had a 191-472 for the Sir Bills and Steven Hulbert added a 168-464.

Gloversville finished with a 3,593-2,779 advantage in total pins.

The match was contested virtually with Johnstown bowling at Perry Lanes and Gloversville bowling at Arterial Lanes. The scores were combined later.

GLOVERSVILLE — Mark Sgambato posted games of 220 and 232 on his way to a 650 series to lead Gloversville to a Foothills Council victory over Glens Falls.

A.J. Dorman posted a 230-634 for the Huskies, Adam Loveless rolled a 207-548 and Brad Wisniewski finished with a 185-513. London Tallon added a 202-510 for Gloversville (46-6), which finished with a 3,301-2,913 advantage in total pins.

Jocelyn Smith finished with a 216-596 to lead Glens Falls, while Joe Cook posted a 192-541.

The match was contested virtually with Glens Falls competing at Kingpin’s Alley and Gloversville bowling at Arterial Lanes. The scores were combined later.
