JOHNSTOWN — Abby VandeWalker scored 16 points to power Johnstown to a 49-30 victory over Broadalbin-Perth in a Fulton County League girls basketball game Thursday at Johnstown High School.

Jaden Wilson finished with 13 points for the Lady Bills (6-0 overall), while Anna Lee added 11 points.

Makenzie Smith scored 13 points to lead Broadalbin-Perth (6-3 overall).

GALWAY — Izzy Mancini scored 10 points to lead Galway to a 47-21 victory over Waterford-Halfmoon in a Saratoga County League game on Thursday.

The Golden Eagles led 21-2 after one quarter on their way to the win.

Ryan Ripepi scored nine points for Galway (2-10 overall), Grace O’Brien had eight points, Morgan Drouin posted seven and Julia Reedy added six points.

Meghan Paul scored 11 points to lead Waterford-Halfmoon.

Galway is scheduled to travel to Waterford-Halfmoon for a 5 p.m. contest today.

MAYFIELD — Felisa Fowler scored 12 points to lead Canajoharie to a non-league victory over Mayfield on Thursday.

Canajoharie led 15-5 after one quarter only to have Mayfield rally to take a 22-20 halftime lead. The Cougars outscored the Lady Panthers 34-27 in the second half to earn the win.

Kaijah Fowler finished with nine points for Canajoharie (6-4 overall), while Elizabeth Prime and Angelina Clark each had eight points. A total of eight different players scored for the Lady Cougars.

Kelsey Meca scored 20 points to lead Mayfield (4-5 overall), while Cloey Dopp had 19 points. Adriana Yuret added six points for the Lady Panthers, who are scheduled to host Broadalbin-Perth today at 6:30 p.m.
