JHS field hockey blanks Glens Falls

GLENS FALLS — Taryn Ringer had three goals and an assist to lead Johnstown to a 9-0 victory over Glens Falls in a Foothills Council field hockey game Thursday.

Emily Fleming scored twice for the Lady Bills and had two assists, while Meghan Mraz scored twice.

Jena Barker and Reegan Wilcox also scored for Johnstown, while Anna Lee had two assists. Kalena Eaton and Cole Krempa each had an assist for the Lady Bills, who outshot Glens Falls by a 56-4 margin.

Emilia Haverly and Lucy LoDestro combined to make just one save between them to share the shutout in goal for Johnstown, which finished with a 28-1 advantage in penalty corners

N’ome Griffin made 26 saves for Glens Falls.

Johnstown (9-1 overall) is scheduled to host Scotia-Glenville Monday at 4:30 p.m.
