Berne-Knox-Westerlo led by just two points after the first quarter, but gradually drew away for a 52-42 win over Northville in a Western Athletic Conference girls’ basketball crossover Friday. Ashley Stevens led the Bulldogs with a game-high 28 points. McKenzie Schwenk added 10. Hailey Monroe’s 17 led Northville.

Johnstown’s Darryn Fallis rolled a six-game 1,396 series in the Section II Class B boys’ bowling championship at Boulevard Bowl, and holds the third-highest spot on the Section II team that will compete at the state championships, pending the results of next week’s Class A and Class C-D sectionals.
