High Schools: Canajoharie takes third in class at Section II girls’ bowling championships

Canajoharie, Fort Plain and OESJ finished third through fifth at the Section II Class C-D Girls’ Bowling Championship on Thursday at Boulevard Bowl.

Canajoharie finished with 4,266 pins, trailing winner Schoharie (4,894) and runner-up Middleburgh (4,689). Fort Plain had 3,901, while OESJ finished with 3,475. Canajoharie’s Maya Evens rolled the third-highest triple with a 547.
