HIGH SCHOOLS – Several area players were among those selected to the 2022-23 Foothills Council girls’ basketball team.

Broadalbin-Perth’s Molly Russom was named to the first team, while B-P’s Mairead Marsden was named to the second team. Amsterdam’s Annike Fedullo, Rosie Sculco, Sharazade Cooper and Felise Fowler were named honorable mention, along with Gloversville’s Zoie Tesi and Broadalbin-Perth’s Camille Calderone.

Schuylerville’s Macey Koval was named Most Valuable Player.

Queensbury’s Shea Canavan and Kendra Ballard were named to the first team, while South Glens Falls’ Kaitlin McDonough and Hudson Falls’ Seneca Williamson also earned first-team honors.

Queensbury also had Dyllan Ray chosen to the second team, while Aislynn Dixon was named honorable mention.
Rounding out the second-team selections were Scotia-Glenville’s Karaline McCarthy, Glens Falls’ Gianna Endieveri and Schuylerville’s Lauren King.

South Glens Falls’ Jordan Wolfe and Bailee Wolfe were named honorable mention, along with Scotia-Glenville’s Keeley Kristel.
