Brian Brink’s grand slam capped an 11-run fourth inning to power Galway to a 13-2 Western Athletic Conference baseball victory over Mekeel Christian Academy on Tuesday.
Galway pitcher Eric Zelezniak struck out 10 and also had a double and three RBIs. Josh Lovelass added a home run and single.
Shane Nygaard and Caleb Hussey each had a double for Mekeel.
Zionna Robarge pitched a five-hitter in going the distance as Fort Plain beat OESJ 12-4 in Western Athletic Conference softball.
