HIGH SCHOOLS – Sam Neahr homered, hit two doubles, had a single and drove in four runs to power the Galway baseball team to a 23-0 Western Athletic Conference win over Schoharie on Thursday. Eric Zelezniak also had four RBIs on a homer and double. Eli Tompkins had a double and three RBIs, and Jack Flint drove in two runs.
Aiden Streeter led the charge for Scotia-Glenville in a Foothills Council hitfest with a home run, double, single and three RBIS as the Tartans won 13-8. The teams combined for 28 base hits.
Colin Cotter went 4 for 4 with a double for B-P.
Schuylerville defeated Hudson Falls 9-3, as Anthony Luzadis hit a triple for the Black Horses and Ashton Morris hit a double and a single.
Red Maron doubled twice and drove in four runs, while Chris McLaughlin and Brady Osborne drove in three runs apiece for CBA in a 24-3 non-league win over Amsterdam. CBA’s Jack Gialanella added a four-hit day. For Amsterdam, Manny Santos singled twice, Jude Flint tripled and Spencer Cotugno had an RBI single.
