HIGH SCHOOLS – Amsterdam pumped out nine runs in the bottom of the sixth inning in a 14-2 victory over Broadalbin-Perth. Kai Brennan went 4.2 innings in the start for Amsterdam, allowing two runs on five hits, while striking out eight. Brennan was also 3 for 5 at the plate with two RBIs. Manny Santos closed out the win over 2.2 innings, allowing one hit while striking out six.
Santos was also 3 for 4 with a double and RBI. Ryan Reagan went 2 for 2 with a double, triple, two walks and five RBIs. Jude Flint added a hit and three RBIs. TJ Platt and Colin Cotter each collected two hits for Broadalbin-Perth, while Jake Alteri was 1 for 3 with an RBI.
