ONEONTA – The Amsterdam Mohawks improved to 4-0 with a 4-1 victory over Oneonta in a Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League game Monday.

The Mohawks scored two runs in the first inning. Leadoff man Gage Miller tripled and later came home on Zach Eldred’s single. Dakota Duffalo followed with an RBI single to knock in Eldred.

Amsterdam made it 3-0 in the fourth, thanks to another leadoff hit from Luke Longo, this one a double to left field. Bryce Hubbard’s single to right field scored him.

Dylan Banner’s solo home run made it 4-0 in the fifth.

Christopher Baillargeon’s triple scored Gavin McAlonie, who had singled, in the bottom of the ninth for Oneonta’s run.

Ryan Taffe struck out four in two innings of relief for Amsterdam.
