Fort Plain to host baseball camp

FORT PLAIN — Fort Plain High School is hosting a four-week baseball camp starting April 25. Fort Plain head coach, Craig Phillips, will direct the program in conjunction with U.S. Baseball Academy. Classes are available for players in grades 1-12 and are limited to seven players per coach. Sessions are offered in hitting, pitching, catching, fielding and baserunning. Space is limited. By PAUL WAGER The Leader-Herald The Gloversville-Mayfield and Fonda-Johnstown swim teams recently competed in the Foothills Council Championships. The meet was contested virtually with all of the teams swimming in their home pools. The results were combined March 12 after all schools completed their swims.
