JOHNSTOWN – The Peck’s Lake Wild Turkey Calling Contest will take place during the Adirondack Outdoorsman Show today and Sunday at the Johnstown Moose Club.
There will be an adult division (ages 18 and older) an a youth division (up to age 17) taking place each day from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
There will be no charge to enter the contest and prizes will be awarded for the top two finishers in each category (each day), as well as participation certificates to each youth participant, all courtesy of Peck’s Lake. New York State outdoorsman hall of famer Ron Kolodziej will assist with judging.
Participants should bring their own calls, as a limited amount of calls will be available for entrants.
