BROADALBIN – Teams are now forming for the third annual Glenn Aery Classic Volleyball Tournament, which will take place at Broadalbin-Perth High School on March 19.
The cost will be $10 per player, and there is a six-player minimum per team. Broadalbin-Perth staff, students 13 and older and others in the B-P community are invited to form teams.
A limited number of team entries are available, so teams are encouraged to register as soon as possible.
The registration deadline is Feb. 25.
Project 29 Pub and Filling Station is sponsoring a Most Creative Team Look contest, for which the winner will receive a $100 gift certificate. The Broadalbin-Perth Booster Club is the primary event sponsor.
The event also will include door prizes, food, a 50/50 raffle and more.
Registration begins at 9:30 a.m., and the first game will begin at 10:15 a.m.
Spectator admission will be $2.
This year’s proceeds will raise funds for B-P’s athletic scholarships and help raise money for new rugs and table skirts in the gymnasium.
