TOWN OF JOHNSTOWN — It was the summer of 1972. There wasn't a cloud in the sky in Virginia Beach. The wind was low and the wings were out. Ronald Chizek of Johnstown was stationed in the U.S. Navy when he first touched a model airplane. At the time, his two children brought him closer to the hobby.
