Motorcyclist killed in Tuesday Route 67 crash in Johnstown

TOWN OF JOHNSTOWN — An out-of-state biker was killed in a crash Tuesday morning on state Highway 67 in Johnstown, Fulton County Sheriff's officials said. Officials identified the motorcyclist as Stephen Proctor, of Indiana. The crash happened at about 11:15 a.m. Tuesday near the Fulton County Sanitary Landfill, officials said. Proctor was headed westbound when he skid out at a sharp turn into another lane and collided with an eastbound truck at 11:15 a.m., officials said. The roads were wet at the time. Proctor was "alert and conscious" at the scene, but died afterwards at Nathan Littauer Hospital, Captain Matthew VanValkenburgh said. The…
