CAROGA — U.S. Sens. Kirsten Gillibrand and Chuck Schumer have requested $2.5 million in federal appropriations that could account for the rest of the monies needed to fund amphitheater construction expenses at the former Sherman’s Amusement Park on Caroga Lake.
