SCHENECTADY — A woman was found with fatal gunshot wounds in an apartment in the Mont Pleasant neighborhood of Schenectady Monday, city police reported.Police found her while responding for a welfare check at 11:11 a.m. She died at 953 Crane St. shortly afterward.Schenectady investigators are looking for a suspect. It remains unknown if the incident involved a break-in, according to Lt. Ryan Macherone.The victim's identity has been withheld and it's unclear whether or not she was a resident of the upper-floor apartment.
