AMSTERDAM — Felony weapon possession charges are still being pursued against Amsterdam 4th Ward Alderman Stephen Gomula, according to special prosecutor Amy Burock, handling the case for the Schenectady County District Attorney’s Office. “We’re moving forward and working on the case,” Burock said. “The prosecution is still timely.” Judge Traci DiMezza divested the case to superior court after prosecutors failed to appear in Amsterdam City Court on May 30.
