State Board of Elections warns voters of reports of people falsely impersonating election officials

The state Board of Elections (BOE) said there have been reports of people across multiple counties throughout the state that have been going door-to-door while impersonating county Board of Elections staff.The state BOE said the impersonators are confronting voters about their registration status and falsely accusing voters of committing a crime because of how they appear in the state voter database. “We are extremely alarmed by these actions.
