AFD: Man rescued from bank of Shuttleworth Park pond after suffering injuries, medical event

AMSTERDAM — A man trying to retrieve a remote-control boat from the pond at Shuttleworth Park required emergency rescue when he was injured falling down a steep bank and suffered a medical event on Tuesday, according to Amsterdam Fire Chief Anthony Agresta. Details on the man’s condition were unavailable on Wednesday. Agresta confirmed the individual was an adult male, but otherwise declined to discuss identifying information.
