Feds: Broadalbin man took gift cards, cash from mail while employed with Post Office, pleads guilty

ALBANY - A Post Office employee from Broadalbin admitted Wednesday that he took cash and gift cards from packages while working in Albany, U.S. Attorney's officials said. Otilio Millan III, 33, of Broadalbin, pleaded guilty to taking the cards and cash from mailed packages while employed as a clerk for the Postal Service, prosecutors said. He admitted that from December 2020 to November 2021, he opened mailed packages in order to steal the gift cards and cash, while working at several Post Offices in Albany, including Terminal Street Station and the Stuyvesant Plaza Station, prosecutors said. ---Help us bring news…
