Gloversville Transit Systems proposes reducing FMCC runs, adding stops

GLOVERSVILLE — Gloversville Transit Systems has proposed reducing trips out of Fulton Montgomery Community College during the academic year as a result of possible contractual changes.Under the new plan, there would be seven runs throughout the year and a few extra stops elsewhere. There are currently nine runs when school is in session and six during the off-season.GTS Mobility Manager Brent Warren indicated that FMCC has proposed cuts in light of post-pandemic enrollment challenges, but declined to detail any adjusted figures in the new contract, which is expected to be inked next month.If passed by the Gloversville Common Council, run…

VAILS MILLS — Fulton Montgomery Regional Chamber of Commerce is no longer managing tourism services for Fulton County. MOHAWK — In front of a row of hospital training mannequins at Fulton Montgomery Community College, State University of New York Chancellor John King asked nursing students, "what would you do if you were talking to a legislator?" Three FMCC dorm halls sold for $1.8 million

FMCC - Fulton-Montgomery Community College President Greg Truckenmiller Tuesday said the Fulmont College Association has completed the sale of its three dormitory halls for $1.8 million to Amsterdam-based Tryon Enterprises LLC, owned by David P. Huckans.
