Motorcyclist killed in Montgomery County crash, sheriff says

TOWN OF MOHAWK — A Niskayuna man died after his motorcycle collided with another vehicle on Saturday morning, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday. Officials identified the motorcyclist killed as Rodney P. Hayes, 48, of Niskayuna. Hayes was traveling north on Bendicks Corners Road and attempted to pass two vehicles headed in the same direction when the crash occurred around 10:50 a.m. The motorcycle collided with another vehicle that was preparing to turn left into the Fulton-Montgomery Community College campus.
