Gov. ALBANY - Former Lt. Gov. Richard Ravitch died on Sunday in Manhattan, Gov. Kathy Hochul’s office confirmed on Monday. He was 89. Ravitch was a well-known figure in the New York political scene, despite never having been elected to political office. He was appointed to serve as lieutenant governor by former Gov.
