ALBANY — Gov. Kathy Hochul is once again warning New Yorkers of a possible return of low air quality conditions on Wednesday while severe thunderstorms also threaten the state. Hochul warned that current air quality forecasts show a potential for unhealthy air quality to cover most of the state with a thick surface smoke overnight Wednesday due to the ongoing wildfires in Canada. The state Department of Conservation reports it is due to a cold front entering Western New York from the northwest in the early morning hours of Wednesday and is expected to bring potential near-surface level smoke statewide.…
