JOHNSTOWN - Cole Krempa scored as time expired in regulation to give Johnstown a 2-1 non-league field hockey win over defending Section III Class B champion Holland Patent on Saturday. The goal was set up by a corner as Caroline Krempa and Ayaka Sasaki assisted on the game-winning tally for the Lady Bills (6-2). Caroline Krempa scored in the third quarter to tie the score. Johnstown, Gloversville to combine for alpine, Nordic skiing

JOHNSTOWN, GLOVERSVILLE - For the first time, Johnstown and Gloversville will field a joint athletic team this winter. The area rivals have had battles in nearly every sport, but now the schools have agreed to combine for alpine and Nordic skiing.
