Broadalbin Library to hold garden tour this Saturday

The Broadalbin Library will be hosting a garden tour this Saturday as part of an effort to fundraise. Beginning at 10 a.m., eight gardens around Broadalbin will open for viewing, featuring colorful perennials, neatly sculpted hedges and unique decor.“We wanted to have a variety,” said Linda LaCasse, a volunteer at the library and the organizer of the garden tour. The self-guided tour will serve as a fundraiser for the library’s operating costs, including new rent fees that went in place after they were forced to switch locations from their previous building.“We went from having no rent to having close to $10,000 in…
