State suspends construction, increases police patrols for Labor Day weekend

Ahead of Labor Day weekend, the state has suspended construction-related lane closures and state police will crack down on impaired and reckless driving throughout the weekend. New York governors in recent years typically have temporarily suspended lane closures during holiday weekends.
