By James A. Ellis/For The Leader-Herald This weekend’s schedules at Fonda Speedway and its sister track Utica-Rome Speedway are packed with big-money races and honors. The fourth straight rainout at Utica-Rome brought changes to the schedule, as racing will be held Thursday and Friday nights. The Bill Shea Memorial will be held Thursday, featuring the ESS 360 sprint cars for the second leg of its four-night ESS Speedweek. The series started Wednesday at Can-Am Speedway and will move on to Brewerton Speedway Friday and Fulton Speedway Saturday. CAROGA LAKE - Royal Mountain Ski Area hosted its sixth and final Central New York Motocross Riders Association event on Sunday.Several area riders were among those claiming wins in their classes.Broadalbin's Alex Rosa, Gloversville's Sal Attigliato Jr., Johnstown's Ian Cary and Gloversville's Tyler Rizzo all earned victories in their respective classes Sunday.Attigliato won all four of his motos on the day to pick up victories in the 51cc pee wee senior 7-and-8-year-old class and the 51cc open 4-to-8-year-old class.Cary won both motos to pick up the victory in the quad amateur class. while Rizzo won both motos to win the…
