GLOVERSVILLE - A woman was assaulted on the Gloversville Rail Trail Tuesday evening and police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect. The incident happened at about 9:45 p.m. Tuesday in the trail area of South Main Street and Broad Street, police said. Officers responded there for a report that a woman had been assaulted. They found the woman there, who reported she had been the victim of an unprovoked attack.
