DUANESBURG — After sitting dormant for the past three years, the former Duanesburg YMCA building is set to get a new lease on life. Schenectady County lawmakers this past week approved a deal that will see the county purchase the 26,000-square-foot facility at 221 Victoria Drive in Delanson from the Capital District YMCA using $1.8 million in federal coronavirus-relief funds, and then sell the property for $900,000 to Christopher and Lauren Davis, a Schoharie County couple that plans reopen the fitness facility. As COVID-19 cases surge across the state — including in Fulton and Montgomery counties — Fulton-Montgomery Community College is ready to ramp up its COVID-19 testing operations.All the college needs in order to once again host a high-volume, state-run testing site is Gov.
