Gloversville Transit: Students could be turned away if bus fails inspection

GLOVERSVILLE — Fewer students in the Gloversville Enlarged School District will get boarded on one route if bus operators don’t clear a nearing hurdle. An eight-year-old student-only commuter bus is at risk of failing inspection in two months, according to Gloversville Transit System. Should it fail, the city-owned operator would provide a smaller substitute transport for months. “I expect that if we lose the big bus, we'll still have the same amount of students that want to ride the bus, but we won't have the space for them," said GTS Mobility Manager Brent Warren.
