The state Department of Transportation has reported area roadwork, effective Monday as follows:
Montgomery County
∫ Town of Fort Hunter: Route 5S between Fort Hunter Road and Hill and Marks. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to paving operations.
Fulton County
∫ City of Johnstown: Route 30A between Briggs Street and Townsend Avenue. Motorists will encounter north- and southbound lane closures with flaggers in place due to drainage work, excavation work and the installation of signal conduit.
∫ Town of Mayfield: Route 30 and Route 30A. Motorists will encounter lane closures in all directions at the intersection with flaggers in place due on site detour work.
∫ Town of Ephratah: Route 29 between the Montgomery County line and Route 29. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to paving operations.
Hamilton County
∫ Town of Inlet, Hamlet of Blue Mountain Lake: Route 28 between Inlet and Blue Mountain Lake. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to paving operations, drainage operations, shoulder repair and guiderail work.
∫ Town of Arietta: Route 8 between Old Piseco Road (County Highway 24) north and south. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with temporary signals at each bridge due to the rehabilitation of Route 8 bridge over Piseco Lake outlet, Route 8 bridge over Sheriff Lake outlet, and Route 8 bridge over Rogers Brook.
∫ Town of Benson: Route 30 bridge over Sacandaga River. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to bridge inspection.
∫ Town of Wells: Route 8 bridge over the Sacandaga River. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to bridge inspection.
