NELLISTON - A Nelliston man was arrested and charged with assault in a domestic dispute, Montgomery County Sheriff's officials said.
Christopher J. Smith, 34, of Nelliston, was charged with second-degree assault, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and aggravated family offense, felonies.
He was arrested Sunday after a reported domestic dispute at his home, officials said.
He is accused of producing a shotgun and striking another person with it causing injuries during an altercation, officials said.
Smith was arraigned and ordered held on $10,000 bail. He is to return to court later.
